If you have a flight booking with Cathay Pacific Airlines but due to unforeseen situation in life you have to change or cancel the flight. You are allowed to do that and you might or not need to pay the Cathay pacific change flight fee or the flight cancellation charges as per the conditions given below:
• If you have cancelled or changed the flight within the 24 hours of the time when the flight was originally booked and there is a difference of at least 7 days in the flight departure at the time of flight cancellation, you don’t have to pay an extra charge.
• If you are cancelling or changing the flight after 24 hours of the flight booking time you need to pay extra charges for that.
• If you are cancelling or changing the flight within the 7 days of the flight departure you have to pay the extra charges for that.
You can cancel or change your flight by logging into your Cathay Pacific Airlines account on the website of Cathay Pacific Airlines. Once you are on the website you need to follow the steps given below to cancel or change your flight:
• Go to www.cathaypacific.com
• Click on manage
• Click on manage booking
• Enter your membership number/ username and password
• Or you can login by booking reference number / e ticket number and the first and the last name of the passenger as on the ticket
• Click on Sign in or go to my booking
• Under my bookings you can see all your reservations
• Select the reservation for which you want to make changes
• Click on cancel or change flight which you can locate on the screen with other options
Once the flight is cancelled you will receive the email confirming the Cathay Pacific cancellation of the flight or the change in the flight.
